I take pictures to capture the beauty of life; the candid, crafted, unnoticed, and celebrated moments of it.
After a decade of photography, I learned that it's a craft that has no rules and no "right way" to capture a moment. My photography process is ever changing, but as it stands today my longest lasting approach has been this:
capturing what's in front of me in an honest way + in its best light.

I married my high school sweetheart and we are constantly having the time of our lives together!

My favorite vacation spots are Las Vegas, Nevada, Nashville, Tennessee, and any ski town out west.
Currently calling Birmingham my home, and I've also lived in Atlanta Georgia, and Jackson, Mississippi.

but will single-handedly take my team down in a game of trivia.

I get super technical with my gear and I think color theory is the coolest thing ever. I might have 5 cameras on me during our session, between my digital camera and different formats of film cameras. During my off-season you'll find me diving deep into research about the newest camera's color calibrations and lens modifiers.
Because I immerse myself in the precision of my craft- I've loved experimenting with current photo trends, adapting different film formats and ways of shooting, and training other photographers in color editing + shooting as well.
I've built custom color profiles to adjust to various lighting scenarios for ideal color tones and filmic textures for my images because I don't believe settling for anything less than ideal.
