Editing Services

Hiring a private editor means you free up hours of your week to focus on other business functions, manage work/life balance easier, and finally gain control of your free time again.

Editing can start to feel like repetitive busy work once you've already established your signature style, or it can be a major growing pain for photographers who are still trying to nail down consistent skin tones and coloring throughout every shoot. That's why I offer 3 different tiers of editing services and speak with each client personally to ensure every image meets their standards and expectations.

To ensure quick and timely turn-arounds, I only accept a limited number of projects and clients during each particular season. However I do offer reservations if you know you have a big project coming up during a typically busy season.

01

CONTACT AND INTRODUCTION

After submitting a request below, I get in contact with each new client before accepting any project to establish goals and expectations of editing services. Returning clients will have a streamlined process for submitting projects.

02

SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT WITH REFERENCE IMAGES OR ANCHOR EDITS

Once your project is accepted, you'll be given step by step instructions on how to submit a project. The latest version of Lightroom is required.

Tier 1 clients will include 5-20 photos of their reference edits with each project. Tier 2 will submit film scans with their corresponding digital images to match and edit. Tier 3 will submit their images, along with 5-10 reference images they would like to emulate.

03

APPROVING INITAL EDITS

Within the first few days, all clients will receive previews of 5-10 edits for approval before continuing the project. Established TIER 1 clients may choose to forgo this step once editing style is established.

Once these edits are approved, I begin editing the entire project and standard completion dates begin.

04

PROJECT COMPLETION

All payments must be paid in full at this point to receive any edited images.

All files with final edits will be delivered via Lightroom catalog as their original file format, so you can continue to make any adjustments necessary to send to your client.

TIER 3 clients will receive a general breakdown and explanation about the edits made to get to the final results.
